The Woodlands Yoga Studio is a Registered Yoga School accredited by Yoga Alliance
Our Certification Training Course consists of 10 weekends (Sat & Sun) (1 weekend per month) Hours 9am-12pm and 2pm-5pm. Tuition is $3700 and can be paid in full or paid by the monthly session ($370). If you pay the full tuition at the start of the course, your will receive a discount $200 off the price ($3500).
Besides one weekend per month, students are required to take 3 regular classes per week as part of their training. We encourage in house classes but this requirement can also be achieved via our video library. There are no additional charge for these classes. It’s all part of the Teacher Training package. We want you to have a solid practice and understanding of yoga by the time you graduate.
RTY200 Program
In our RYT200 Course you will learn:
- How to take the seat of the teacher
- Correct postural alignment for beginner & intermediate poses
- How to break down & teach challenging poses
- How to plan smart sequences for your classes
- How to develop confidence and authenticity with your voice
- How to understand and work with body bio mechanics
- Basic Human Anatomy
- Yoga History & Philosophy
- How to use props effectively in your classes
- How to give modifications to students with challenges
- How to help students with common misalignments
- How to give clear & concise cues in your class
- How to teach virtually online
- How to create themes for your classes & make them enjoyable for your students
- How to teach Pranayama (breath) & Meditation
- How to search & properly present your credentials for teaching positions

RTY300 Program
For the experienced already certified RYT200 yoga teacher, who is looking for an RYT300 Program in order to become an RYT500 Level Teacher, we offer a unique approach to your future training! Once you have earned your RYT200 and begin to teach, you find there are so many avenues to explore with your teachings. Our RYT300 Program is designed to help you earn your certification in 15 months, thus enhancing your teaching credentials and more importantly your teaching skills through a new workshop each month.
Our RYT300 program is divided up into 2 parts. 150 hours of Curriculum and 150 hours of Specialized Intensives. We bring in teachers to help you with these objectives as you earn your hours. Once you receive your RYT300 you will be awarded your RYT500 ranking with Yoga Alliance
Our RYT300 program is ongoing and you may enroll at any time. You may also pick and choose the workshops you want to take to build your hours toward your certificate.
